Originally built in the 1894 by St. Augustine socialites, Conrad and Sophie Decher (German Immigrants and friends of Henry Flagler), the Peace and Plenty Inn houses a rich and abundant history.
The victorian home has had many different lives, a personal home, boarding home, apartment, etc. In the 1970s, the home housed students attending nearby Flagler College. After which, the home was abandoned for several years.
Court Terrell and his mother diligently restored the old Victorian home into a luxurious Bed & Breakfast between 1996 and 2000. It was finally time for the Peace & Plenty Inn to be a place for our wonderful guests to make beautiful memories.
At Peace & Plenty, our staff and management are very guest focused. Everything we do, we do lovingly, for our guests. We are not perfect by any means. We are here to make certain that our guests have the best possible stay at our Inn and experience the best of historic St Augustine! We don't compromise on your comfort, safety, and service. We will go that extra mile! Sincere service with a smile!
Guest Service and Guest Satisfaction are our top goals!
WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBILITY
Due to the historic nature of the home, it is not economically feasible or possible to provide wheelchair ramps since such ramps would extend out into roadway, therefore accessibility by wheelchair ramp is not available.
Booking directly on our website peaceandplentyinn.com, is the best way to get the best rate and pick the room of your choice! Making a reservation directly where you will be staying also helps the local small business.
Also, for the current uncertain times, changes and or cancellations are easier to navigate, when booked directly with our Inn(our website or phone).
