walkways and be sure to bring a camera!

The historic
lighthouse stands 165 feet above sea level, and continues today to be a
working lighthouse. Open to visitors, and handicap accessible, the
lighthouse also features a museum with exhibits and archives of the old

Recreation Area
The Anastasia State Park
and Recreation Area opened in 1949 and today is one of Florida’s busiest state parks. Located
1.5 miles from historic downtown St. Augustine, Anastasia State Park
features coastal camping, fishing, sun bathing, surfing, sail boarding,
swimming, nature walking trails, and picnicking areas. A great place to
go for fun for everyone!

Guana River
State Park
Guana River
State Park is a 2,400 acre
coastal park, located on a barrier island that is located in the middle
between St. Augustine and Jacksonville. Bounded by the
Intracoastal waterway and the Atlantic Ocean,
the state park features many endangered species and unique wildlife to
the wetlands, marshes and tidal creeks. Hiking and biking are usually
popular activities in the park, as well as just sight seeing. You can see
porpoises, sea turtles, and other marine wildlife. Fishing is also
allowed.
